Good

Really not that bad as people say

I don't understand why people claim this game as terrible. I'll admit that it does have a lot of flaws but only few affect the game itself.

Graphics:
Especially for a Wii title this game looks great. The environments are polished and the levels looked great. There are some points where it looks bleak though.

Music:
Jun Senoue(I think that's how you spell his last name) from Crush 40 returned to write the music, which definitely got me excited. And I have to say it definitely shows. I absolutely love the boss songs, especially the bosses with King Arthur and The Dark Queen.

Plot:
Overall a decent plot but short. There's no really big plot holes that ruin it and make me confused like Sonic Adventure 2 or Sonic 2006. I especially like the plot twist that was added at the end.

Gameplay:
Ok, here's where people seem to be stuck on the most. Gameplay definitely is the most important part of any game and should be done right. I hear a lot of complaints about Sonic having a sword and all. Honestly, I don't ind the sword much, I will admit that it does control a bit weird at times. You swing the sword by swinging around the Wii remote. It's only a pain if you go overboard with your swinging, and if you don't swing your sword all the time it doesn't make the game as easy as everyone says and your arm won't get sore. The control is now on the nunchunk so you don't have to tilt the Wii remote back and forth, making Sonic a lot easier to control. The control sometimes is a bother though, you can gain speed y using a jump dash which doesn't seem to be brought up a lot. The fact that the gameplay is on rails does make me a bit angry but I don't mind it all that much.

Multiplayer:
I'm making this short and am just going to say stay away from this. I haven't much experience but from what I heard it's horrendous.

Overall this game isn't as bad as I've seen people say, and is a lot better than Sonic 06 or Shadow The Hedgehog, and even Secret Rings. Give this gam

People think this game is terrible, but I beg to differ. This is a great addition to the Sonic series, even though it doesn't have much to do with other games in the series. I was quite amused with characters in the game being Sonic characters. The bosses can be pretty easy until SPOILERS the third fight with Blaze, though the game doesn't refer to her as Blaze. I recommend this game to anyone wh likes swordplay and Sonic.

I had just played Sonic and the black knight. I thought this game has beautiful graphics and a nice soundtrack. But falls short on gameplay. This game like the other sonic games is way to short and way to fast. The use of a sword is a cool attack feature in this game but there are too many different sword acts you need to learn. The controls are easy to use, jump with the a button, swing the wii remote to use the sword and move with the nunchuk controller. The missions are short and boring with you running collecting rings and slashing your way through enemies. The boss battles are easy as well as long as you follow the button press instructions on screen. I would not recommend this game to sonic fans or action game fans. There are better games out there to spend your money on
