The sonic levels have a great redesign that makes the best 3d sonic game since the entry to 3d with Sonic Adventure and its sequel. It's got the best camera in any sonic game in 3d, but the worst game-play ever.
Sonic the werehog's levels are terrible. long, boring, walk to a room, fight, walk to a room, solve a simple puzzle, fight.OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
there's no excitement in that at all, it just sucks. it's boring and BAD.
THE worst thing is that the werehog levels outnumber the awesome but short regular sonic levels. Unbalanced and medicore at best.
Sega should have just made an awesome basic sonic game, and made a separate werewolf plat-former to an original game and fleshed it out and added more combat and faster game-play. 3/10.
