Sonic Unleashed for Wii Reviews by Gamers

I'm a big sonic fan but this is not what I was expecting. The gameplay features more dialog and busy work fillers so that when you finally get to go out and do what sonic does best it is hardly worth it. I was looking foward to a quick passed game but instead sonic turns into a wolf... and in doing so slows down the fun. Terrible game

Interested in playing a Sonic game somewhat close to the original series I had growing up but instead was nothing like it. The opening to the game is forever long and not one button will let you exit out of it to the main screen so it forces you to watch the mini-movie. Then a second mini-movie you can't get out of is played and that takes forever. By the time you get to play the game in turns into more of a Oregon Trail type deal where you talk to townspeople? Then after the tutorial you play a level that lasts about 1:30 upon completion. Then more talking with local town folk until the next level which is identical to the first except a few twist and turns. After that I put it back in the sleeve and mailed it back. Save your time and money.
