Big Bro:
Sonic Rush Adventures takes Sonic back to the good old days, but wait! there's more! The bosses are now way more fun and there are plenty of collectibles and mini-games to keep you entertained. The game plays simple if you've ever played a Sonic game (and come on, we all have at one point), and adds many new chances to do tricks for extra points. Even if you haven't played Sonic before, the game has a great tutorial. There is a part that brings it down though... I really try not to skip the dialog between characters in games but I could just not handle it. Not only that but the dialog is very VERY repetitive, here's what happens in every dialog: Marine acts all tough (and somewhat annoying), Tails acts like a total pansy, and Sonic puts in a couple of words that really don't add to the story. I did skip the dialog, but that did leave me confused at times. "Wait, when did this guy get here?" I asked myself when a koala bear character appeared after I skipped a dialog, "Oh he's some sort of professor... no wait." Terrible writing aside, the game is just classically fun so the story doesn't rain on this parade of an amazing game.
Little Bro:
The dialog, not the best. As a kid, the game is a bit hard for me. I could not beat some of the bosses. There are boats in this game, which is the system for getting from island to island. They're cool because in other games you just click on places and and get there. The running part, the thing is that sometimes you randomly run into enemies and lose all of your rings. I wish that the enemies were more noticeable so I could attack them. And what's with the dinosaur you get when you do a mission? He doesn't do anything!
Big Bro:
I'm pretty sure it's a collectible. It doesn't have to do anything, it's like a trophy you know?
Little Bro:
Oh, well it would be nice to have it be a mini-game or something.
