First off i have to say this is the only sonic racing game that was not boring. On a more game specific note the graphics were amazing, the music is anything but boring, the voice acting and cut scenes were amusing and interesting to watch which is a rarity in recent games of any game racing or not, the controls are fluid and respond well, the tricks are easy to pull off but there are a decent number of them so the combinations are almost endless the problem with one player mode is that if you practice enough on a track the computer has no chance of winning no matter what but playing against friends more than makes up for this the different modes are fun and challenging but not enough to make them worth going into detail anyone who plays them probly just wants a break from racing and wants to relax and play something that you can take slowly the courses of the races are interesting as they are multiple leveled and if you time a jump just right there are advantages to getting to the top surprisingly rings only speed you up and not by much they don't have any real game play value there are unlockable characters from other games as well but i wont spoil who they are there are two story modes with clear differences in difficulty if you are having trouble with the first set of courses you probly need more practice the only thing that could make this game better is if it could go online so that you could race people around the world instead of just a few friends who don't have as much time as you but it is a great game i would recommend to not only sonic fans but fans of skateboarding and mild racing game fans
