This game has improved quite a bit over the last Sonic Rider game. It's a lot less sloppy and it's easier to keep up with the speed.
This game is really fast, at first I was diappointed that there mechanics from the first game would change, but the change was actually better for the game.
I like playing the game with the wii-mote on it's side NES style, the 2 button is to jump and the one button is to manipulate gravity to slow your character down to do a sharp turn around corners. The gravity manipulation looks really cool and it alters the music as you play. Shaping the Wiimote up and back down would make your character go into some hyper speed mode which looks a lot like "Chaos Control" from the game Shadow the Hedgehog.
The music is dynamic, it changes depending on your actions. It's not bad, nothing catchy I think, but it makes it much more interesting to say the least.
The story mode? Pretty bad. Voice acting? I suppose I'm getting used to the new voices, and I think they improved somewhat.
There's more graphical stuff going on in the game, especially with the gravity defying techniques. It looks better than the previous game, which looked dull and plain.
Over all, I think this game is much more enjoyable and easy to control than the previous game. I'd give it an 8. It's a very good game and it's much more fun than the previous one, but different. Nevertheless, the differences make it a better game. I'm a big Sonic the Hedgehog fan, for those who aren't interested in the characters, it's a 7, it's a good game regardless.
