When the game starts the controls seem very clunky and can get frustrating just trying to turn a corner or do a trick, but once you start to play the game gets smoother and more fun. Once you get some experience with the game you will notice how surprisingly responsive fast paced this game gets. Although it is hard to get into, Sonic Free Riders is a surprisingly good launch title that is highly recommended to a Sonic fan, Sonic Riders fan, or even Mario Kart fans.

i have read a lot of reviews about this game. they all say the controls are horrible, and you cant turn. when i started out i couldnt turn either but eventually you get used to it and you get better. most video games these days your either good at or your bad at. this is the first video game that you have to play it to get better i have ever played. people have been giving this game bad reviews because they flat out suck at it. if someone isnt good at something they usually end up not liking it.
I wanted this game to be good, I read the reviews and still had hope! but the truth is that it is hard to even complete the training without running into major glitches. the controls just don't work. I have what could be considered a "perfect" set up for kinect and it still doesn't work. I continually couldn't get the thing to turn right or do the spins in the air no matter how high I jumped or turned. I love kinect and have had tons of fun with adventures and sports. I hope some more solid games start making their way to the system.
