Exactly like the PS2 version

I received this game in the mail today. I figured everything for every classic Sonic game would've been updated but when I started playing it, I was shocked to see that it was like the version I have for the PS2 only it's smaller and has the same graphics and music.

Other than that, it's worth renting but probably not worth buying if you already have the PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube versions.

...get Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Not only does it have more Sonic games but the whole shebang has 40 Genesis games with 9 unlockable Sega Master System games. In Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection you can Save State which lets you continue from any point in the game where you saved unlike the DS version that just starts you at the beginning of the level. Also it supports widescreen and smoothing, which touches up the graphics, and is in HD.

I like the knuckles games on it but the other sonic games I have played before
