Fun at First but Quickly grows Old

The best parts of this game are the sheer multitude of characters, unique combo attacks, and the riveting storyline. Problem is, everything else is so boring that after a while it stops being worth it. After the fun of getting all the characters and trying out their new moves subsides, you're left with a bunch of running around and meaningless fights. These fights will have you either runing away or healing after each one, which definitely gets old. Also, it's lost some of the old Sonic-speed feel that fans know and love. Worth a rent, but definitely not buy.
