Not Worth Your Time

Sonic fans and ordinary people alike have always fallen in love with SEGA's spunky little "blue blur" known as Sonic the Hedgehog. The sideways-scrolling, fast-paced game play is what makes people scramble for the next game. However, "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood" fails to deliver the rushed excitement that we all crave.
Sonic Chronicles is set up as an RPG, and poorly at that. The low-quality storyline takes hours of gameplay before it gets remotely interesting, and some "battles" can go on for hours before hitting a target. Try after try, you can spend an hour of all of your attempts to hit an enemy simply turn into unproductive "misses".
The controls of the game are also strange. The buttons become useless, and the only method of controlling Sonic is the stylus, only to move him around a map.
The quality of the graphics is poor too, and it's just a sad, poor attempt at trying to change the little spitfire we all know and love. SEGA and BioWare failed, and thank gosh that SEGA has not released another game like this.
