Excellent

Short and sweet

A must have for sega fans. It will bring you back to the good old days.

For the ppl that cry "This game should have this game or that game cry cry cry boohoo boohoo boohoo". Like many game in the past dont you think they maybe just setting up to bring out Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection 2.

As for it should have better games. Well growing up i hated Altered Beast and guess what i still do so that game should not be on there.
My buddy i grew up with loved Altered Beast and he still does but he hated Sonic and still does so that game should not be on it.

The point is work with them ppl you cant have your cake and eat it to. Their tiring to please every one (even themselves). In a world of $60 a game $20s for more then one game even if you dont like them all i just cant see where you got room to cry.

If you missed the era or if you grew up in it you should check this out.

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Rating: 9.0, Rent (Keeper)

Long ago, I had Sonic 2 for Sega Genesis, a Sonic plush toy, and Sega Sports shoes... Seriously. I've purchased many Sega collections from PSP to Xbox, to Xbox 360 and PS3, but none were any fun or truly nostalgic. The Menu resembles a Genesis Console, and you can see the Cartridge Artwork for each game. The SFX, BMG and 2D graphics on a PS3 inspire a rare feeling of nostalgia.

I can say THIS is the definitive collection for Classic Sega Genesis Games.

The Review:

+TRUE Multiplayer: You can play w/Humans not just "usernames."
+In-Game Music: Play custom music via XMB during gameplay.
+In-Game Saves: You can actually save your progress .
+Trophies: There are many tricky, but fun Trophies.
+Fun: These games are grade A fun. Arcade, Shooters, RPG's.

-The 2D Bosses were brutal then, and brutal now, lol.

There are very few games that you can just play over and over again like these. If only the sonic series would just be put down.
