I was so excited when I saw this game in the store. I immediately bought it for my 3 year old. He liked it, but grew bored of it by the end of the day. The idea is great and the format of mini-games is perfect for him. The games are just very boring after a while. There are only a few puzzles for each game and after you play them once they aren't interesting any more. If they could have expanded the games or added more it might have worked better for him.

My almost-three-year-old loves to play the DS, and this is the perfect game for his age. It has one very simple menu, and a "quit" button on every game so you don't have to wait for the game to end to switch to a new one. From coloring, to a whack-a-mole style game, to a simple driving game, they are all just right for little guys!

The game consists of a bunch of mini games and activities. It is extremely fun especially for a 4 year old boy. I'd highly recommend this game to parents of 3-5 year olds that are struggling to find suitable DS games for their young children. The graphics and music could be better but I am sure that the more recent versions in the Smart Kid's series have improved that somewhat.
