As I said in my review of Thievius Racoonus, Sly is my all-time favorite series. And the 2nd game is my all-time favorite game. Why, you ask? Because it improves upon everything from the first game. Free exploration is now even more fun, and new playable characters are a welcome addition. The bosses, which is one of the best parts of Sly, are some of the best in the series (and the world). The graphics have greatly improved, and it has plenty of replay value. Finding the green clue bottles is annoying, but as it's not required, it doesn't hinder the game much. Stealth combat and up-front combat are both possible, whereas in the first game stealth combat involved running as fast as you can toward an enemy. Enemies must be defeated in more than one hit, making it more challenging, but the health bar is quite helpful. And ThiefNet, the website for buying abilities and selling stolen goods, is quite useful for a little extra cash. This is one for the ages.
