couldve been a 9.5 or 10 from me, but the fact that you cant replay missions sortve killed the game for me. if you finish the game thats pretty much it. you have to start the game over again to experience anything else if youve completed everything, it wouldve been cool if you could replay the missions with all the new upgrades you get over time. plus if you play the game you know that its like a movie. what if u wanted to show you're friend a scene from the game or something u thought was cool in a part of it...well youre outve look.
Wasn't planning on purchasing this, but after playing the demo and while waiting for Dishonored, CoD:BO2, Halo 4, and AC3 to drop I went out and grabbed this, and, so far, it hasn't dissappointed. The combat is fresh, the mini-games are interesting, and the story is great.
I have to complain a bit about the movement system because sometimes you'll get stuck on objects that are just a few feet off the ground while the main character, Wei, jumps up and over walls that must be around 12 feet high in other places. A jump button or a little tweaking on the mantling/environment system would be great. I'm pessimistically giving this a 7 instead of an 8 or 9 because I really can't see much replay value, but maybe they'll surprise me with some decent, reasonably-priced DLC, but I won't hold my breath. Could change on that one, we'll see.

Ok so this game is based in Hong Kong. When you first start out it is amazing because the world is alive and reminds you of how Saints Row The Third started. However you are not in an open world immediately. It takes about 20 min to get there. Until then, you are pretty much fighting rows of bad guys, which is cool because of how the controls work. It is a little like batman in that you can counter and such but not as polished, but not bad by any means. Then the game opens up and you get to go into the big boy city. This is where you realize the graphical limitaions which is the world doesn't flow smoothly, which is not really bad, just a slight flaw. Also, like just cause 2 you can leap from one vehicle to another which is cool. The driving is smoother than jc2 which is a relief. Overall, this game is worth a playthrough. It is the only new thing out to quench that gta thirst so rent or buy and get that fix. I am not done totally with the game, but i have read that it will be 20-25 hr to complete everthing which is turning out to be about right. I love games like this. by the way i would have given it an 8.5 but since i can't i am giving it a 9.
