Very Good

Fun game but becomes repetative

This game was alot of fun until you get to the end and then unlike GTA it becomes repetative. Nothing much to do other than car thefts for cash. Otherwise i would recommend the game for rent but maybe not a long time purchase.

Fair

Shooting up garbage

I had read a lot of good stuff about this game. I rented it hoping for a superior experience to GTA. I felt like I was playing a spin off. While I enjoyed blasting away at the obscene amount of vehicles and baddies the game never felt more then a rehash of GTA.

Weak

An utter disappointment

First off I'm trying to figure out why there are so many reveiews of "10". After going through them I noticed 6-8 reviews repeated over and over again. They were very detailed but I saw these same reviews several times apiece. Obviously some misrepresentation here. As for the game I tried really hard to like it. I'd fight one gang with fists the next would be firing guns at me or punch me and take half my health. I mini-games that frequently appear are fun at first but become boring after a dozen times. The driving mechanics are flawed and need work and the camera keeps moving out of position. making it difficult to strafe. Difficulty is based on how many bad guys you fight that appear out of nowhere. I enjoyed the hand-to-hand combat atb thought it was fun until you are surrounded by 12 of them and while your attacking 1 two others are beating you senseless - forcing you to constantly be on the defensive. I tried liking this game I rally did after turning it off and walking away in utter frustration and going back and again getting frustated I found it difficult to enjoy at all. If you want to keep cars you have to pay for them you can't keep them if you steal them. You also pay ridiculus prices and have to have a high enough 'face' their term for popularity. You can't buy weapons and the clothes you buy which they state gives you a bonus did nothing that I noticed. This game had a lot of potential and like a few other reviewers I believe it was rushed to the shelf to quickly. While many reviewers seemed to enjoy the story I've heard it before a dozen times and have not interest in even seeing the ending and I very rarely return a game without finishing it.
