A lot of people compare Sleeping Dogs to GTA and I have to say its nothing like GTA! I loved the fact that i had to rely on hand to hand combat! The Shooting in the game was good the combat was way better for me!!! The Story is Great! I've heard that there making another one and i really hope so! The City and Set up looked great!! It was easy for me to get the trophies so its good for people that like hunting trophies! I love the fact that i can be driving and i can jump and hijack another car and that's sweet!!

This is basically Grand Theft Auto for grown ups. The plot is excellent, the game play is fun, and the side missions are entertaining but never feel like they are distracting or getting in the way.
The only complaint I have about the game, which is a small one, is the cost of death is a shade too high. I mean this in the sense of cash. Every time you die outside of the story missions you spawn in the closest hospital (which sometimes is across the district from where you were) and there is a medical charge. It's obvious it is scaled on how much you have in your account. This actually kept me from trying side missions until I had compiled a large enough bank balance. So from 3 hours of game play in to almost the end of the story I avoided side missions like the plague in case of my death because I was afraid it would ruin my bank balance and I couldn't buy the car I wanted. (Conversely, in story missions when you die you just spawn at a checkpoint.)
