this game is perfect but when your on misions and your into the fighting then you go to the next section of the mision but you lose then it takes you all the way back to the first level of the mision wich you have to pass it all the way again and make sure you dont lose so you wont have to redo thats why i give it a 9 so far it was GtA in hong kong it was great!

Better than GTA

I love my games like GTA Saints row and any open world game but this one is top by far. The music of the game can be a little annoying but for the most part that is the only thing about the game that I didn't like. The city looks great and the story is awesome. Especially the fighting because just shooting all day can be a little boring. If you are looking for a great open world game that is a mix between street fighting and shooting then this is the one for you.

GTA with Kung Fu lessons

Ok, this game is a solid 7 out of 10. Decent graphics, entertaining combat, top notch voice acting and an engaging story help this game rate above average-but early in the game the sense of having done all this before is apparent. After a few missions, the deja-vu began to set in. Sleeping Dogs does not stray far from the path set many years ago by GTA 3. The missions are repetitive and while the combat is a welcome improvement from similar games, the enemies are basically punching bags with little aggression. Much like a 70s era kung fu flick, the enemies often surround the main character only to attack slowly and one at a time. While this does give the opportunity to showcase the games cool environmental and counter attacks, it removes the element of challenge from the melee portion. The story was excellent, and the use of seasoned actors went far in making the dialogue convincing. I did enjoy this game, but once I played through it, I couldn't find any reason to play it again.
