I know many gamers are all about shooting 24/7 seven days a week. I am sure there are some like myself that really look for great story lines and a line up of amazing voice over talents. That's exactly what you get in sleeping dogs. There is plenty of opportunity for shooting, killing with blades and slamming a screeming villian in the trunk of a car, but i would put this game in the top three games i have ever played as far as voice talent goes. The story is good, and just remember when fighting, as soon as you are attacked and the opponenet turns red triangle button on ps3 is your best friend.
With Kung Fu fighting! There's some gun play as well, but hand--to-hand combat is the meat of the combat system, and it's really fun. The main storyline is very well done - it's a sort of undercover police drama mixed with Chinese Triad gang drama. The side missions are pretty good, too, but once you've earned a certain amount of "face" and money, there's not much to do with it except buy more cars and clothes. Otherwise though, a terrific game.
