DO NOT GET THIS GAME! I returned it the first day. It has okay graphics, but they are the same you would get on any next gen console. It is too hard to do tricks, and the camera is zoomed in to close. I played it for 10 minutes and hated it. If you want a good skating game, get a Tony Hawk one.

Skate is a game for anyone who knows everything about skating and skating sponsers. I do not. The camera is a constant fight, if you have played resident evil 4 it is kinda like that but with just enough room to see the board.

The controls look like they would be great but the heelflips, kickflips, and pop-shuv its are way too sensitive and it is almost impossible to to do the one you want. I miss the simple button presses doing the tricks. Also the only way to get your board moving is to either hold the X or the A button to kick your foot off the ground and after three simple pushes you are already up to top speed...... for about three seconds that is. You have to keep on your toes because you could be in a pool tryin to do some tricks and every time you get in the middle you will have to kick that foot to keep going.

I also didn't like that to do grinds all you have to do is get close to a rail, ledge, bench, or whatever. The trick you do depends on how you land on the rail, that gets annoying. If you are just trying to get some speed in a halfpipe or pool or something and you get to the top and start to turn around and you get close to the top, the skater will begin to grind on the top of the structure

I will say that the game had incredible graphics and the voice-overs are good but it is missing that element of "applies to anyone". The game is not for people with a short temper because the camera ales pretty much every move you do.
