Remember going out on a balmy morning as a child slapping on a helmet to go an get your grind and grab on ya only in my dreams (get your minds out of the gutter) but anyway this game is pretty darn good good controls (except when your trying to manual out of a kickflip GRRR) no real complaint lots of depth good next gen graphics definetly pick this one up and work out your thumb or childhood issues your choice.

So I like the rest of the world have been playing these Skateboard video games for a LONG time.. Ive played them all, from the lamest titles that last only a week on the shelves to THPS' newest title. For the most part, in their defense, those "other games" are fun and entertaining, but EA SKATE is so far beyond the other skate games that it shouldnt be listed as anything other than a sport's game title.
It is so realistic the way you kick to push, the amount of top speed you can attain, the heigth of your ollie, the way the board flips with style depending on how you play, and the graphics are awesome. I have no complaints so far. The controls were easy to learn. There is a session marker option that lets you mark a spot and return directly to it with the push of a button. That way if youve found that perfect handrail and bail on the first try you can pop right back on top of it, at the beginning of your line ! Its great.. They took all the fake out, all the frustration out, and left nothing but good pure realistic skateboarding... Now how do I get them to make a SNOWBOARD game?
