This game is over all really fun and is the best DS game I have ever played.
Although the graphics in this game weren't top notch like PSP, I found them to be surprisingly vivid for the DS. Even though I say this, I am a little bit disappointed that EA failed to capture details, such as the face. Over all, I'd give the graphics a 6.
As the gameplay goes, I really liked how it was very similar to Skate. As I say this though, there are a ton of new locations in other countries like Paris, and you do alot of things you didn't do in Skate. Gameplay: 8 1/2
One of the most interesting features for this game is the online gameplay. I did not know that DS had online until I played Skate it. The only online is really matchmaking. This disappointed me because as most matchmaking online types, it was very slow. However once you get into a game it's really nice because you play with one other person and can start races, trick competitions, etc. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of party members. You can only have 2 people in a party. I know that EA will improve this feature if they do make a Skate it 2. Online:5 1/2
The best feature of this game is the controls. I'm not going to go into too much detail but EA uses "flick-it" controls which basically means that a little skateboard is on the bottom of the screen and you flick it outwards to do different tricks. It's kinda hard to get used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's awesome! Controls:9
To make a little side note, one thing that will tick you off over and over again is that if you run into another character, they keep going and you fall to the ground.
This game overall was great. I would recommend it to anyone of any age. I hope this review helped you!
