First off, I want to start by saying that Queen is easily one of my all time favorite bands. There isn't a single song I dislike, and from what I could see, Singstar Queen covers some of the really awesome tunes.
My only issue is that Singstar requires you to use their proprietary microphones to play any of their games.
So for those of you who love to sing, and only own Rock Band, Boogie, or the American Idol game microphones, be prepared to either buy Singstar microphones or the Singstar bundle that comes with the game and mics.
The game itself gets high marks from me, but I'm biased because of my love for everything Queen. Singstar's hardware requirement on the other hand deserves a 1.

You need singstar mics for this with the USB converter and currently there are no wireless mics on sale in the US. The songlist features a few too many ballads but many classics and some songs you will warm up to so its a much better incarnation than any previous SS game in the series as far as legitimacy of the artists is concerned. The videos are terrific fun but lack any kind of video quality so they truly are "artifacts" We are the Champions is kind of quiet in the mix here as are a couple other tracks so if you crank this game through an amp turn your mic low unless you really are a great singer as you will be HEARD trying to sing over the duets and F. Mercury leads which are challenging in many cases but rewarding. Some band facts/ song facts a better sound mix, wireless mics ,BICYCLE and Princes of the Universe would have made this Singstar entry a true Champion instead of the newest contender. Fun rental as the retail price feels hefty at the moment.
