I've seen game genres from america and Japan, and there are alot of differences between the two. This game is no exception. Honestly, when I played the first level, it looks like a game you'd see at an arcade. They don't look like Wii graphics, more like arcade graphics. This is one game that really keeps you moving, dodging shots and shooting enemies at the same time. The down side though is once you lose all your health, your score drops to 0, and you have to restart at the last checkpoint. But overall, it's a challenging Japanese shooter and is recommended for anyone looking for fun and a challenge.
this is one of the greatest games of all time especially if you like an intense shooter. one great thing i like about this game is that you get unlimited ammo.i mean its better than just having to reload over and over again. id highly anticapate you renting this game from gamefly, cause buyin it would be a waste of your money this game only has 7 stages but dont think its short these stages take like an hour .but dont worry you can stop at any time with the autosave.theres my review of the greatest game of all time sin and punishment:star successor.
excellent game to bring that arcade style shooter to the home. Story is a bit jagged with little to no explanation in most parts, your garunteed to be confused until the end. As for the bosses they all seem challenging in their own right, but you will find that out. Final boss was extremely challenging, which presented quite a breath of fresh air since most bosses nowadays are more of a wam-bam-thankyou-ma'am type of deal. Not advised for the easily ill tempered, this game aims to kill you as much as possible and it will happen alot.
Excellent old style arcade play
Challenging bosses keep the action going
Level uniqueness is amazing
Game tends to do too well killing you often
Story is impossible to understand until the end
Ending sucks too
Overall it was still amazing for what it was worth and deserves a 9
