its great if your a fan of the show, theres a lot of inside jokes and references, also a lot of video game references and other things from pop culture
pretty good graphics, cell shading makes it pretty
the negatives include, poor camera, lots of repetitive game play, it took me like a half hour to beat a level, also tacked on wii controls

Maybe I'm just not a platforming fan, or maybe it's cause I haven't really been a Simpsons fan since the early 90's (I'm really showing my age), but this game just didn't appeal to me.

- Good humor
- Creative locales
- Simple gameplay

- Buddy gameplay is annoying (having to switch between 2 players)
- Camera is so bad it made me dizzy
- Gameplay itself is sometimes very buggy/nonresponsive

Awesome sounds and humor BUT bad gameplay

Unless you can get a wii save of all the levels so you can play any of them in any order (and ignore levels that make you do improbable jumps/things), don't bother, unless you want to get stuck on the second level of the game. I checked the wiisaves site last night and noone had one yet. I will re-rent this game later when one is available.

The sounds and humor are hilarious however. The first 2 levels are worth a rent just for the humor, even if you can't beat the second level because of a floaty bart jump in the planetarium. Naysayers may say that you can do that jump. I bet 9 out of 10 people can't do that jump. And yes, I checked a walkthrough.
