If you have been gaming for a long time than you know the sim series has been around for a while and now its making its portable debut on the DS with Sim City DS. The game has all the basics of other Sim City games. You start out with a very small town and by adding buildings, residences, attractions, monuments, and so on you can turn that town into a city. As you can imagine you use the stylus to place things around your city. This all works well and i have not found a problem with it so far. At the very start of Sim City you are assigned an advisor. Mine is a robot man. (SWEET I know! =)=)=)..... any way your advisors help you by giving you advice on how to make your city better. Your advisor will help you with taxes, residences, how to make more money, how to attract more people, etc. The graphics could have used some work but other wise the games design is great. I have built a big city and I am having lots of fun and so should you so pick up or rent sim city DS as soon as possible!

Sim City DS is a lot like Sim City 4 for the PC in terms of look and feel. It is a very fun and addictive game if you have a lust for creative power over a city. The only problems i have with the game are you can only have one city going at once; takes too long to get upgrades to building options; the final gripe i have is there is not enough variation in the buildings. Other than those minor things the game is straight addicting just as all the other simcity games are. If you are new to the series, the tutorials are pretty helpful, otherwise, if you are an experienced sim city mayor, then you can jump right in and have a blast.
