Wow this game is an atrocity to the new age of video gaming. I must've put 6 hours so far into this game and a good portion of that time has been spent on getting around the stupid town. The rest of the time was just slow and boring. Going to the other world isn't nearly as fun as it was in Origins and others. Side quest are alright but a lot of them give little to no reward. I guess the real treat is doing the side quest in general. I will admit there are some (very few) parts of the game that was cool or somewhat creepy. But they're far apart from each other. Sometimes I find myself just trying to go for the main objectives to hurry up and beat it so I can send it back. Overall its the same old thing. Same type of story but with much less scares. The enemies are a joke and look dated back to the PS2. The last two SH games were garbage IMO, so I'm not surprised that this one blows a fat one. I don't know why everyone is complaining about the combat. It's just as awful as its always been. Most of the indoor settings are too dark to even see where you're going and you'll probably get a headache before your objective is done. The story of almost every SH game is relatively the same. This game is avid proof that this series has reached it's bitter end. It has nothing to offer as far as a unique experience or any real spookiness. Dead Space defecates on this game when it comes to scaring the player. Survival horror can be fun but not if it comes from Konami. Lame, waste of time, and not very entertaining at all. Sorry to be so harsh but man I wasted too much time trying to like this game.
