Sid Meier's Pirates! for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

I was really looking forward to playing this game since it looked and sounded like a great game. However, after I got it, the disk would not work. I was very disappointed. Hopefully this will not be the way games are from here. :-(

At first glance, sailing around the world, fighting with pirates, and making peace with governments seems like a very original and exciting game Sid Meier has created, BUT about 30 mins. into it, you realize the repeative nature of this game. You do the same thing over and over again, with the exception of finding random treasures and locating your family. Overall I think the whole idea of the game is Great, but the follow-up... Not So Great!
