Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

I must admit that when I received this DS tittle I did not know what to expect. Having played the PC CIV IV I was a little skeptical about what the handheld could deliver. Although the game does not have the depth of its bigger brothers I found that it has a certain charm of its own. The graphics and animations are great for a handheld and it has all the barebone elements that make civilization such a great franchise. This works as a doubled edged sword however because the lack of depth translates into short gameplay matches as well as smaller maps sizes. Overall Civilization for the DS is a great roadtrip tittle for those who need a fix while on the go or a quick match through Nintendo WIFI. It is also a great place for newcomers to the franchise to get there feet wet. If you need something more then a fix however and want the whole civilization experience I would suggest sticking with its bigger brothers.

Once you play it a couple times it gets very boring and repetitive. So I would suggest renting, but not buying.
