It is a lot more simple than the PC versions which I guess could be good for some, but I think it is missing to many options. There are no openborders and all there really is to diplomacy is trading technologies. I found it rather boring because of that. It also seemed to move much faster than the others and that took away from what I Civilization has become to be. With it being turned based there is no need to simplify the controls. It all could be done easily with the ps3 controller.
All in all, if you have an older version of civ stick with that one. If not, go get an older version.
I love this game. I love the fact that I can play a strategy game online. BUT:::::
There is never anyone to play online with - which is the only reason why I would keep the game. Where is everyone? With no "rooms" to see other players - its impossible to tell if anyone is online much less what type of game "everyone is playing"
So online - is spent waiting and waiting for the player who may or may not be there? This game would have gotten a 9 or a 10 if it wasn't for the fact that I can't seem to get a game going online.
I Have never Did one of these Before. This game is great but it is short I played this game Alot the game has less leaders than pc but at least the nukes works unlike the pc. I would say rent first then buy. this game is great to play when your stuck in game Like RPG titles then this game is great to help you out to less the stress.
