This game had the potential to be a great fall back game to kill time with. With a few modifications it would have long legs that would make repeat play fun for a long time. In and effort to gear the game toward faster play they removed many of the options that games like Alpha Centauri had. The ability to customize the size of the world, the number of opponents and the rate of tech advancement are gone. What is left is an ok game that is fun to play a few times but certainly not worth buying. The kind of game that gamefly is made for.
