Okay, but . . . .

This game was pretty good, I'll admit. It's got cool graphics and being able to destroy buildings and everything is fun. It's got some new characters to choose from, which is nice. But, it would be nice if you could actually hurt your opponent normally and in Slam Mode. Also, being able to toss opponents of the stage would make it more fun. I give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5.

That's the lesson for today. It's a passable game and probably worth a rent if you like 4 player combat, but it seems to try to be SSBM and it falls so short of it that it is ridiculous.

Pros:
4 player multiplayer.
Lots of playable characters from the movies.

Cons:
No stamina mode/Unable to knock out opponents.
No health bar, the only way to score points is to fill your slam meter (so you could wail on someone for 30 minutes but they'd still be fine.)
