A Very Interesting Dungeon Crawler...

... but it's still a dungeon crawler. If you don't like the genre, then this one won't change your mind. If you do, then this one is quite entertaining. I'm not a fan of dungeon crawlers, but I managed to be entertained for about 30 hours or so before I decided I had enough of it.

The game has a pokemon-esque mechanic for recruiting party members as well as a battle system that challenges the player to create a party that exploits the weakness of the enemy. Some of the normal enemies can easily kill you and some of the bosses NEED a strategy otherwise you will lose very quickly. You need to be unafraid of the game over screen to play this game to its fullest.

The reason I rated this game a ten was due to the fact that it's very hard to create a good game for NDS. The game shows a great amount of creativity and plot. The game starts you off as a soldier in modern times using advanced technology. A strange cloud has engulfed a small portion off the bottom of the world. While the rest of the world believes this is a blizzard it's actually a demon infested worm hole leading to multiple dimensions. You are part of an elite crew sent by the U.N to investigate and destroy the Earth's threat. Equipped with a self adapting suit called Demonica you storm into the black abyss with no idea what you'll find. I loved this game and I believe that you will too. If you are into a game with plot and creativity you will surly want to buy this game.

A great return to true SMT gameplay

I will give you a warning right now, do not expect Persona. I hate it when people assume persona is the main series of SMT, even though, granted, that was their first exposure to the series, and they are great.
However, if you liked previous games in the main series, such as Noctourne, you will like this game very much. It has the great gameplay SMT is known for, in the palm of your hands. You are stranded and surrounded by demons. You must either battle them, or you can communicate them, and get them to fight alongside you or give you goodies! And of course, you can fuse monsters for more powerful monsters, which is very addicting(as it always is). Going through dungeons is rather exciting, but the walls can get repetitive, but they change sometimes when you enter new areas, and the map is useful and easy to read.
