No Control for a Real Life racing game.

They claim real life racing but some of the actions in this game are no where near real life aspects. First I don't know if its just me or is there a delay from turning the analog stick to the actual car in game. The car to me does not seem to turn right as I touch the stick. Like it takes a second or 2 for the game to realize that I'm turning. Then you try to counter steer then over counter steer the other way then you find yourself spinning out. There's no car that I've seen in this game that can grip the surface. Every car wants to slide and sometimes even a simple tap of the stick your car wants to start fishtailing.

I've also never seen a game like this where if you even touch an AI car you loose all handling on your car. If you were passing on the inside of a turn and happen to bump the car on the outside you car seems glued to that car and he will drag you into the wall. I also love the fact they can spin you out so easily but you can't do it to them even if you try you spin out with them even if you know in real life that wouldn't happen.

To me the drifting in this game is horrible! You barely touch the gas and your car goes full throttle and there's no control. The cars just love to spin out no matter what class it's in.

The upgrades are pointless because when you upgrade all AI cars are upgraded too to match your settings. What's the point! Might as well save the money! The first one didn't do this which I liked because upgrading the engine could get me off the line faster but in this one it doesn't matter.

In GT5 it tells you how high you can upgrade you car before it can't compete in a certain event. This game gives you no clue! How far can I upgrade before I can't use it? If the max class is a B and you upgrade to an A then too bad, you can't undo the upgrade that made the car an A.

Plus there's no variation like GT5. Its you VS 2 different cars repeated to fill the slots. So many cars and yet you only race 2. U VS a Cobra X4 and Corvette X4.

Really Bad

Pretty but missed the mark

The game is graphically very pretty but that is all that it offers. There is so much wrong with this game that it isn't even worth going over. I loved the first game and bought a copy of this one. I regret ever purchasing this game.
I only played the game up through the C class cars but I can say from what I saw of the game there was no way on earth that the designers ever had any seat time in some of these cars.
This game was such a disappointment!

Oh and the pro racer that they force you to listen to during the game is mind numbingly annoying. I quickly set the audio so that anything other then the vehicle sounds and effects were turned to off.

If this site allowed profanity it would be the only way to fully describe how far off the mark this game ended up.
