It's by no means an advanced game. The graphics are a bit buggy, and would seem more at home on the Playstation 2, but that aside, the game has a very good story, authentic looking characters (real life street women in that age were far from appealing), great voice acting from Holmes and Watson, and interesting game mechanics make this a great adventure game for fans of the genre. If you're not a fan of the genre, however, then you might get bored.

Upon first starting this game, I enjoyed the story and the dialogue pretty greatly. Unfortunately though it took a long time to get to any actual "investigating". Directions are often unclear and worst of all- you can't really run. I nearly turned the game off, but against my better judgment gave it another couple hours play. I got to the first crime scene and was surprised to find it was delightfully clever and smart. I found myself completely engrossed in recreating the crime and discovering all the small details in the area. Though, that small aspect of the game became pretty scarce particularly since you aren't give the ability to "run" so you just walk slowly through the streets of London. It's not a bad game, just a little frustrating. But if you have some time to kill and are looking for something to work your brain a little, it's a pretty good game.

Played for exactly 10 minutes and replaced back into mailing envelope. Bad graphics, terrible camera and movement angles and controls. Run errands to get information is not gripping for me as a gamer. Another product that should not have been released.
