Sherlock Holmes: Mystery of the Mummy for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

The first thing that irked me about this game was that the sub titles didn't match the the actual dialogue being spoken! For example, Sherlock says "suppose" but the text on the screen reads "presume". Minor, but distracting. Also, the controls are dizzying. Looking around the rooms moves so quickly and jerky it makes my eyes hurt. And finally, the puzzles are not very challenging; just time consuming. So glad I was able to rent before I bought! The game tells an interesting story, but the mechanics of the game ruined it for me.

Navigation through the rooms was clumsy. It takes several steps just to get through a single room. Pace is slow as molasses.

Because of poor image quality, it was difficult if not impossible to find clues.

Once found, the system for retrieving objects was clumsy. Too many steps to retrieve and use an object.

Can't recommend this game.
