I was really hoping for a good experience with this game (well, for my 7 year old daughter who takes gymnastics). However, this game's interface was poorly designed (buttons are too small to aim the Wii remote steadily) and game play is clunky. Shawn Johnson's dialog was recorded WAY too low and the background music covers her instructions. Some instructions are in text, which is tough for younger players to read.
In terms of playing, adults can probably get the sequences right to score well, but for the age of kids that will likely be interested in this game, I think the routines are too difficult (using the nunchuk and Wii remote).
I like the idea of the game, but the execution of it just doesn't work.
