Shadowrun for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I have to say that I thought the 60$ price tag was going to be too hefty for just a 9 map multiplayer game. I was right and wrong. The game is pretty limited and you do notice the lack of maps when playing. Also the game could have used a few more game types to help add some variety to the experience. That said, the play is fantastic. This is probably one of the better FPS multiplayer games that I've played in awhile. The classes, techs, and magics are perfectly balanced and if you get with a good group of players you'll have hours of fun.

They say that there's going to be some free DLC for this. If there is and it's another map or two and some more game types this game could easily be a 9.

At its peak, the game play in Shadowrun is superb and surpasses most 360 shooters. But several technical aspects prevent it from being a must have game worth the 60 dollar price tag.

Shadowrun's matchmaking takes at least 3 minutes to find a game. This wouldn't be much of a problem if it prevented my next complaint, lag. Although not a huge problem lag has plagued about 1/4th of my games, which could easily be fixed if it showed and/or booted the player who was dragging down the entire game.

Once those problems are out of the way the game is complete fun.
