Game Description
The Roman Empire is filled with corruption and turmoil. Julius Caesar attempts to reform the Republic but is assassinated. The murder is blamed on your father. As the warrior Agrippa, you must travel from the outer reaches of the empire to save your father and uncover the truth. Accompanied by your friend Octavius and a female gladiator you will battle for the future of the Republic. Switch between Agrippa and Octavius fluidly as you exploit each character's special talents and skills. Compete in gladiatorial games, including chariot races, tournament battles, and duals to the death!

After a while it gets old watching the History Channel, no pun intended. It's all slo-mo pans across still shots or footage of actors in old rags with cheap video effects. Shadow of Rome reminds me a lot of that movie gladiator, gameplay at least for the fighting was great, really fun and realistic, the story was excellent also it was like playing a movie unfolding in front of your eyes.
