I like this game for two reasons. First the game requires you to hold the DS like a book, A feature that puzzle programmers often overlook. Second it does scrabble well. There a few different variations to the normal Scrabble game. Some are better than others. If you are a scabble fan than this is a great game. If spelling isn't your cup of tea than pass.
I was really looking forward to this game. I lOVE Scrabble. This game would have been really good had it not been for the controls. Placing the letters on the game board was an exercise in frustration. When placing the letters, the space turns red underneath the tile. However, even when you get that tell-tale indication, the tile tends to land all over the board. I tried in close-up and overview modes.
I was only playing in the classic version of the game. I couldn't imagine playing the speed version.
I played the game for several days but couldn't get over the frustration. So, instead of buying it like I thought I would...I sadly sent it back.
