This game is truly THE WORST WARRIORS GAME EVER! What were they thinking putting it on Wii. I have never been so shocked and disappointed in KOEI. This game is so terrible. Why would you even think people would like this? It's like a game from the 70s with samurai in it. I HATE IT!!

gee, this just isn't right, these games are all the same and 8 out of 10's ever time still, even though there is like 100 out this generation alone with almost no slight difference even to each one

I know I’ve played this type of game just recently, but I just can’t remember the other game’s title.
In Samurai Warriors 3, you play as one of ten pre-made heroes (or you can create your own) and battle massive armies to conquer the playing area.
Attacking the enemy mostly consisted of mashing the A button and down on the control pad. Most enemies went down without much of a fight.
There’s one mode where you go through a story for one the ten already made characters, and your goal is to unify Japan under the ruling of that character.
Or you can do the same with a user generated character. (why does that sound so familiar?)
You can proceed through a Mario type game where every space is a battle where you beat up those bad guys and race to certain points on the track.
But darn it, I know I’ve played this type of game before, and there’s nothing here that takes it up a notch from that game. All the characters and levels play out mostly the same, the stories are forgettable, and the voice acting is terrible to average.
If you are into this type of mindless button mashing, army obliterating type of game like Dynasty Warriors 3 (even the titles are very similar), then you should enjoy this game.
But I got tired of the repetitive gameplay that makes up the experience that is Samurai Warriors 3. RENT IT.
