A Great Collection

Once upon a time ago Samurai Showdown was regarded as the 2D Soul Calibur of its time. It was great weapons based combat. Years later it's amazing to play 5 of these games on one disc. I used to play the original SS on Genesis and I can see all the things I was missing and why Neo Geo was a more powerful console. Genesis couldn't handle a bit of the graphics including the zoom in/zoom out feature of the games. It also includes blood, something the Genesis version didn't have iirc. Overall it's a great collection of games and if you played the series at all and like it once upon a time, definitely rent this and I recommend you buy this from somewhere because this is a great collection.

I loved these games,so much so I've bought a NeoGeo Cabinet. If you liked the Samurai Shodown series, then this is a MUST have!!The only things a could complain about are Online play, and I bought SS2 on XBox Live! Why did it take soo long? You NEED a arcade stick to pull off the moves.
