Good game not great. part 3 was better imo but this was fun the super powers took away from things like driving or flying and made boss battles very easy. i give it an 8.

It is a Great game, with all new powers, missions, allies, and mechanics, but does seem disappointing. Off the bat, the intro is a very boring segment of shoot people who cant kill you while you have infinite ammo, then turns to a very boring segment of button mashing to make sure you at all your waffles and pick up your newspaper. but after going through that, it picks up, the new powers are very fun, breathing new life into Saints Row, Adding super speed, jumping, blasts, and all sorts of crazy stuff, it makes it fun to beat up aliens, hos, and simulations. The new enemy leader and his plot is bland, but the story was really not the focus, at all, you can tell if you play it. then comes the bad part, it seems at some points, that this game was originally going to be Saints Row 3, but instead never happened, so they did it here, you can tell with them having the exact same map, same customization, same cars, and many things that point to this possibility. The plot of the last game is just thrown away, cars are still in the game to drive even though its not even useful, the fighting is the same (besides the powers), the allies are mostly the same. The game seemed too focused on quick time events, or just, press this button to proceed events, from having to do it to pick up a newspaper, to having to use it every time you fight a unique unit, or anything like that. besides all that, it is a good game
