Bad

What's up with PS3???

What is going on with the PS3 software when a game like this makes it out of production! Are you kidding me? The battle sequences are pathetic... walk up, push X a few times, walk up, push O. I've been looking forward to playing this game since I read bout it on GameFly - that it was in production. I've been playing RPG's since the days of Ultima I for the Commodore64. I think this game is only incrementally better than that... If I sound bitter I am... There is not much out there for RPGs to start with, and then this game comes out? The character customizations could be cool, if I could get that far... But I can't even invest the time in this game to wait and see that part... It's really that BAD!!! Sad to report.

Its sad when a 5yr old gamer in training finds it boring. bad graphics and didn't want to play it long enough to find out anymore about it.

I was so excited to receive this game, was really psyched to have a Diablo like game to play on my PS3.

But I was utterly disappointed within minutes of popping this sucker into the drive.

First issue is the frame rate. For me, it is too low to be playable %90 of the time. Not only that, there is tearing at all times when the picture is moving. Guess they couldn't afford V-Sync with the already terrible performance. Of particular note is that the Inquisitor model is somehow extremely bugged in that it bogs down the performance another %20-30 when you play as him. This is instantly noticeable the second you select him in the character menu.

Characters and cut-scenes are extremely blocky and unnatural as well. Their mouths always keep moving even though they aren't talking and often teleport places because the animation is so bad.

Next is the game itself. Boring. All side quests are "GO THERE, FETCH ME THAT, COME BACK HERE". No thank you.

Spells... you have an extremely small selection, I can see it getting boring really quickly. There is no tactics involved, just mash buttons.

In my first 15 minutes of gameplay my character was stuck against a wall after I summoned a deity creature (that dragon) because he kept pushing me up against the wall.

I put it back in the mailbox after an hour of play. Skip this and get something else. Waste of time waiting for this game
