I have owned every game in this series, this is by far the worst. While the graphics are a small boost compared to World Tour for gamecube, its nothing spectacular. The game as a lot of flash, and certainly plenty to do. I welcomed back the standard characters with open arms, as I have fallen in love with the SSX crew since the beginning. Unfortunately the control scheme, which should have been a great experience that could bring the player further into the game, fails. The overly complex use of both the remote and the nunchuck make for awkward and somewhat clunky gameplay. The turning/carving function of the two is mediocre at best, while the "uber" trick moves are almost impossible for first time players. I certainly wouldn't recommend renting this game, much less buying it.

Lots of excerpts from ssx 3. something is lost with the motion sensitive controller. nothing really new here. not laid out nearly as well as 3. not a great effort. thankful for gamefly. if i'd have spent money on it i'd have been mad at myself. It's another attempt by EA to try to generate some cash from a previously strong title. Dont get your hopes up like i did. SSX3 is still way more fun to play.
