If you're looking for a gentle ride down a mountain, this is not your game.
If you're looking for a game that you can master in 10 minutes, this is not your game.
However, if you're a gamer who likes a challenge, and doesn't mind putting up with a learning curve, THIS my friends, is your game. The tutorial is a must in this game, and although it's a bit more difficult to navigate the tutorial than I'd like, it gets the job done.
Now, you may be saying to yourself "Well I thought the Wii was made for great pickup and play ability, low learning curves!". Well, this game is a great testiment that the Wii can not only make games more easy, but more challenging, without being all that frustrating.
After you learn the controls, and figure out what works in the game in order to be a successful rider, you can really, really have some fun.
So, in closing: If you get frustrated with games easily, stray far, far away from this game. But, if you want a challenge, and want the outcome to be very rewarding, this is a MUST rent.
I'll see ya on the slopes!
