Need a lot of improvement

I've been an avid Socom fan since the series was first released. Socom 2 was by far the best and still the best. After a few years of not playing Socom, I must say I am very disappointed on the release of this game. I was hoping Slant six would have continued the series with vast changes to the powerful PS3 console, and I was let down. After playing 20 ++ days on Call Of Duty 4, I just dont find this game fun in anyway. I know Socom suppose to be more tactic, but how about fun? There's a line between both, but at the end you must create a game that is fun to play.
So far, the game has been very buggy. Between corrupted data, not being able to play games, my PS3 freezing, I have only been able to play a few games. Those games I've played I've noticed a lot of stops between steps(Laggy). I also don't understand why Slant six didn't incorporate an easier way to get into games. Do we still need to look for a room in which is not full? They also need to make it easier to invite your friends into a game.
I feel this game need's a lot of improvement and should have been delayed. So far I regret paying the $25 I Paid here in Gamefly. But I also remember I felt the same about Warhawk when first released and now I love Warhawk. So maybe with time this game will become worthy. Let's hope so, if not Sony needs to give Slant six the boot.
