The graphics and sound are nothing short of spectacular. The storyline....only mildly engaging. The gameplay is simple, which is fine for me since I'm 50 years old with a career and family, so I don't have massive time to devote to a game. I finished the story, and I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't be happy if I'd paid $60 for the game. I rented it from GF thankfully. I almost finished the game without using Focus before I realized I needed it for the harder foes....and it took me forever to figure out how to use it, since I missed it in the tutorial portion. My own fault I guess, but I still say the instructions for it sucked. I'd really give it a 6.5, but not allowed on here.
This game + HDTV = Beautiful next gen. graphics
The game it self is kind of short, but it is a very well put together game worth playing.
As for the Multiplayer, I enjoyed Arena and Co-op both were great and smooth.
It also added to the game since I felt that the Story was kind of short so its a definite plus.
Even though the game is short i'm still rating it a 10 because I wasn't left disappointed.
This was a title that just came out of no where and was amazing. Forza and Battlefield have a reputation already and made those titles famous before their newest release. I wanted to play Ryse but didn't want to spend $60 bucks not knowing its quality. It is a great game and even may be worth buying if you like the multiplayer.
Good: The graphics are amazing and the game play is great too. Its a great hack n slash but the "executions" are a good ending. They storyline is good and intense. The characters have personality.
Bad: Id say the leveling in the multiplayer. It takes forever to get anywhere with multiplayer and to get amazing rewards (that you have to buy). I found it pretty dull.
Bad: The collection achievements. There are 3 different ones with at least 20 items for each. One of them is even glitched. It says you have all of them but you are stuck at 97% collected.
