Beautiful!

I LOVE this game! It is THE most beautiful console game out there right now. I love being immersed in Roman History everything looks beautiful. EXCEPT I kept fighting the same looking barbarians through the whole game which is not very realistic AND whether I was in Rome or York, they were all the same Barbarians, they all looked the same there was only about 5 different kinds. The single player campaign is a little short but excellent and beautiful, although a bit repetitive. I will definitely play through it again and again.

I think the multiplayer coop is great also and there is a good selection of maps and challenges with Add-ons to add more.

It would be nice if the Campaign was also co-op playing as Marius's friend. Maybe for Ryse 2 where Marius returns as Damocles. ;-)

If you want to see how EVERY Nextgen game SHOULD look, this game is for you! It raises the bar for next gen graphics and realism just like Gears of War did for the 360.

Try it, you just might like it!
PS This game should be for adults only, which was EXCELLENT!!! Well done, MS!

I enjoyed every bit of this game front start to finish. Keep up the good work to those who put this game together.

Good Game With Great Potential

It's Metacritic score doesn't do it justice. This game is surely better than a 5. Fantastic visuals that truly represents next-gen. I actually didn't mind the combat as much as others. While the executions can get a bit repetitive, during free combat you decide how you want to fight. I played throughout the game & it didn't affect me as being boring. Besides, unlocking all the execution single/double portions gives you more variable ways to play or finish enemies off. The story is also very well done & keeps you locked in. I chose a 7/10 because it's definitely a good game and well worth a play through. I feel like it could have done better with the lack of gameplay options that you have. The freedom to do more stuff in the game would have been welcomed.
In conclusion, it's a good start for the game. Sadly though, it's possible we may not see another game like it because of it's Metacritic score. I hope not; it's a good start to a series if a sequel is in the plans, with a ton of potential for expansion.
