I played this game for 30 minutes before a realized that it is just the same a b x y button combinations over, and over, and over again. I decided to at least try to beat the game before I returned it but simply could not. The game lacked an enticing story and character progression is very weak. I thought multiplayer might be more fun but sadly it's just two of you in an arena button mashing waves of barbarians. Nothing changes...ever. Very disappointing. The graphics are good but not as good as what everyone seemed to hype them up to be. Huge letdown overall, that is why this game gets a one out of ten.

This was a satisfying game to play. You get to kill lots of enemies with fun, gory combinations. You can battle multiple enemies at a time seamlessly. You gain xp by killing enemies and as you level you use points to upgrade your character and enable cool finishing moves.
Although the gameplay is satisfying, the game leaves a lot to be desired. It is a lot more like Dynasty Warriors than it is like Skyrim. The plot line is very linear with no choice in which quest to do next. You simply play through the game from beginning to end. It took me about 10 hours. Also there is no looting dead enemies, no gear, and no weapons to choose from. You don't have any sort of inventory. There are only 5 or 6 different types of enemies and you kill those few enemies over and over again. Each one requires a slightly different approach to fight properly.
It's a fun game to play through, especially with a friend or someone online. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. I am glad I rented it and played through and I am glad I was able to send it back for a new game. It was fun but I would not want to own this game.
