Decent game but repetitive gamefly from being a must have. Te level of detail is astounding and the facial animation s a photo realistic. Definitely a rent before buy though.

Pros: Great graphics, Good sound, Good acting

Cons: Boring, repetitive, linear, limited enemy designs (you fight the same four characters), limited battle abilities, bad button lay out when battling (you have to hit (A) in order to deflect attacks but half of the time you end up making a stupid taunt motion and this leaves your characters vulnerable to be hit. Kind of a huge oversight I felt.

Overall: just another game the Xbox One has released that's really not at the level you'd expect. Only good game I've played for the new system so far has been Dead Rising 3.

You've been warned >:)

Visually this game looks great. The facial animations are some of the best I've seen. But the combat gets repetitive, the enemies are exact clones of each other, and besides scenery the game doesn't change much from start to finish.

The campaign lasts 6-8 hours, which is what I expected from this game. The combat system takes some getting used to, but once you learn to time your deflect right it is pretty easy to take on multiple enemies. The executions are cool and gruesome, but again they don't change much from beginning to end.

The upgrade system I felt was very unsatisfying. There are no explanations as to what the upgrades actually do except for the obvious "more health" & "more focus" I didn't really see much change in play style after spending credits for an upgrade.

The "Gladiator" mode is kind of like a danger room. You start with a base character and can upgrade it with currency you earn from playing matches. I played one match, it didn't interest me much.

Overall it was a good experience. I'm glad I rented since the campaign was so short and the online mode didn't interest me. Its worth a run through but will only keep you occupied for a day or so
